How the house serves London

AB / LONDON

Arts Bespoke is a Mumbai house and keeps no office in London. It serves collectors there by correspondence: a condition report, the ownership history and photographs in writing, a video viewing at an hour that suits you, and a true size preview on a photograph of your own wall.

Before any work leaves India the house tells you in writing which export rules apply to it. Works that are antiquities or declared art treasures may not be exported, and the house says so before you commit, not after. Packing, insurance in transit and the paperwork are arranged for you, and any duty or tax due on arrival in your country is yours to confirm with your adviser.
