What this website does with information about you, stated plainly.

What this website collects

Nothing about you until you agree or write to us. On your first visit the site asks whether it may count your visit. If you decline, nothing is counted and no cookie is set, and you are not asked again.

If you allow visits to be counted

One cookie, named ab_v, is set in your browser and kept for a year. It holds a random number and nothing else. It lets the house tell a returning visitor from a new one.

For each page you open the house records the page, the site you came from, your language, the width of your screen, your country, and whether you used a telephone, email or WhatsApp link. It does not record your name, your address or your internet address. These records are deleted after 400 days.

The house runs this itself. The records are not sold, not shared and not used for advertising.

What is kept in your own browser

Your answer to the question above and your choice of language are remembered in your browser so you are not asked twice.

On the On Your Wall page, the photograph of your room is used inside your own device to show a work at true size. It is not uploaded and the house never sees it.

What others receive when a page loads

The site is served from Amazon Web Services, which keeps ordinary server records such as the address a request came from. The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives the request for them.

When you write, register or apply

If you use a form on this site, or email, telephone or message the house, we receive what you send: your name, your contact details and what you tell us. Forms are stored by the house on Amazon Web Services in India and sent to the Client Advisory desk by email.

We use them to answer you, to show a registered collector the right work, to consider an artist or an applicant, and to keep the record of a work or a sale. The house does not sell or share your details, and passes them on only where a sale requires it, for example to a shipper or insurer, or where the law requires it.

How to change your mind, or see or remove what we hold

To change your answer on counting visits, use the button below. To see or delete what the house holds about you, write to clientadvisory@artsbespoke.com. The house will delete it on request, except records it must keep by law, such as invoices.
