A tall, narrow panel looks down a glasshouse garden: palm fronds arch overhead and yellow blossoms hang from the branches, a white fluted column stands at the left, and a pink flamingo walks along a pale path towards the light. Pink and white orchids crowd the foreground, with small blue-and-orange kingfishers on the branches and butterflies in the air. The painting reads like a nineteenth-century botanical panorama, rich in green and rose. A small signature sits at the lower right. Whether it is painted or printed, and who made it, have not yet been established.
